Jeff Franckowiak

I graduated from college with a Civil Engineering degree, but realized I have a passion for changing people’s lives through personal training. I discovered this by teaching swim lessons at Bally’s Total Fitness. I then started training people. I quickly gained clients through the dramatic results I helped them achieve. As my satisfied clients spread the word through Bally’s and my availability became limited so I began organizing small group classes. This was a new concept at Bally’s. These sessions further grew into larger groups. It was extremely satisfying to help so many clients grow stronger, live healthier, and achieve their personal goals. I then started my own personal training company and continued to grow the business using various studio spaces around the Park Ridge area. After meeting a kindred spirit in Bart, we decided it made sense to get our own studio together to further spread our knowledge, passion, and results. We are thrilled to offer a 1500 sq ft facility to run Boot Camps, Small Group, and 1 on 1 Personal Training!

Bart and I realize that committing to get in shape can be overwhelming. We understand the importance of creating a positive and happy environment for our clients.

I strongly believe that keeping excess weight off is vital for longevity of life and prevention of injuries. My goal is to help you create permanent healthy living habits and to help you feel good about yourself.

Jeff is a certified personal trainer with over eight years of experience. He is certified through ACE and actively pursues educational opportunities to gain the most up to date knowledge that is relevant to the field of personal training. Before Jeff found his passion for personal training, his dedication to setting and accomplishing goals for himself helped him in obtaining a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Colorado – Boulder. Jeff’s deep-rooted passion for setting and accomplishing goals for himself makes him effective in teaching his clients how to transform their lives by establishing healthy living habits. For each client, Jeff is focused on establishing a personalized exercise routine with achievable, realistic goals that make each client feel good about themselves, enjoy exercise, and obtain measurable results.

Sports and physical activity have always been a major part of my life. The journey began as soon as I learned to walk and to this day I find sports as exhilarating as I did when I was a kid. I began my personal training career at the two biggest fitness and health corporations in the country X-Sport fitness for one year followed by eight years at Bally’s Total Fitness). After nine years in the business, I decided to work in a private studio. This experience afforded me the freedom to individualize specific programs for my clients and gave me a true appreciation of how vital exquisite customer service is to our clients. After 12 years of experience, I find that a positive attitude and sense of humor go a long way in a, creating lasting relationships with my clients. Ultimately, this helps me to teach them that both exercising and healthy food habits can positively impact their lives in tremendous ways.

Bart is a certified personal trainer with over 12 years of experience. He is both National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF) and International Sport Sciences Association (ISSA) certified. He has additional certifications in stretch and maternal health.

Victoria Ziemann

Hello. My name is Victoria and I would like to tell you a little about me. I went to Northeastern University and studied Accounting, but realized very shortly after that I was not meant for the office world. I recently then pursued an education in Clinical Massage Therapy through The Soma Institute here in Downtown Chicago. I graduated in 2009 and started my unexpected career working in Physical Therapy. For 7 years I have been teaching and demonstrating exercises with proper body mechanics and corrective techniques. I have worked with a wide range of diagnoses from work related, disc issues, knee replacements, frozen shoulder and sports related injuries. Through those 7 years I have realized that corrective exercise and proper form are key to maintaining a healthy functional body.

My next step in life started to become more clear, that I wanted to help people become healthy and fit while preventing injury. So I decided to take the route of a Personal Trainer. I became certified through The National Academy of Sports Medicine, NASM, in March of 2016. Since then I have been trying to help people reach their individualized goals whether it’s correcting imbalances, learning proper body mechanics to better perform your job, overall fitness or just to feel strong and powerful. It all it starts with a desire to change and begins with finding the right people to get you there. I look forward to speaking with you regarding your goals and collaborating on a plan. So make that first step and come on in and start that new healthy life.

Victoria Ziemann’s Classes

Sean Maloney

We have to teach everyone how to handle their body weight in all planes of motion as a starting point and then add resistance once the movement pattern has been done properly.

Sean is a recent graduate from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor in Health Sciences and is certified to train through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, NASM. Sean’s background includes having three surgeries in a three year period while playing High School athletics. Since then, he has made it a goal to help people train in the proper movement patterns to avoid a situation where one gets injured.

  • Functional Movement Training
  • Beginners Training

Sean’s main goal is to train clients of all ages and athletic ability to be pain-free and improve them daily on their strength and range of motion that each client needs for their daily activities and hobbies. His attention to detail on every exercise will help improve the form of every exercise that is done and make it possible to gain maximal strength quicker than one would expect.

About Kristen

Kristen is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator. She recently moved from Las Vegas to the Chicagoland area. Kristen will be offering nutrition services to the Tone Up Club family starting in September.

Kristen will be teaching an introduction to nutrition class. The class will include general nutrition fundamentals to help get started as well as tips for navigating the grocery store, meal planning and prepping.

Packages & Plans

Additional plans include a monthly one on one session and follow up session/call. These sessions will be tailored specifically to the client and their goals. Session topics may include creating meal plans, providing specific calorie recommendations, cooking tips and reviewing food logs. Kristen is excited to be part of the Tone Up Club team!
